KPMG refined the engagement objective as follows: Reduce energy and water consumption while maintaining or improving customer service at the VASQ Facility. In order to achieve the objective, KPMG evaluated FDICs efforts towards energy efficiency using the four key drivers namely (1) Reduce Consumption, (2) Reduce Cost, (3) Measure and Communicate, and (4) Stewardship and Alignment. Upon completion of the evaluation, KPMG produced a Roadmap which contained actionable items and recommendations for the FDIC for programmatic improvement.
