ASTEP Project Vision and Objectives
The figure shown is a triangle.
The top of the triangle represents the “Chairman’s Vision”. The Chairman’s Vision is to be a “thought leader and a visionary for the banking community.
The middle layer of the triangle represents the ATEP Vision components. There are four components of the ASTEP Vision:
- Be a seller
- Ability to scale and handle failure of a large institution
- Move organization away from functional silos
- Adopt industry best practices.
The bottom layer of the triangle represents the ASTEP project objectives. The six main objectives of the ASTEP project are to provide:
- A single source of data
- A single reporting platform
- An adaptable integration infrastructure
- A common user interface experience
- Automated workflows
- Enhanced data quality and timeliness.
