RRPS SYSTEM OVERVIEW

  • Data Load Processes

  • Data tapes and file obtained from the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS); and a supplemental list prepared by DIR are loaded to the RRPS mainframe database.

  • Mainframe Batch runs

    1. Initialization function — Identifies active and applicable institutions by accessing active and inactive institutions in the Structured Information Management System (SIMS) database and validates the institution.

    2. Verification function — Identifies updates applied against CALL or CALL/SL and against rate audit records for prior assessment dates.

    3. Finalization function — During the 45-day interim (after Initialize process), Updates and Modifications are applied against CALL, CALL/SL, and SIMS.

  • Web-based on-line processes

    1. Display Risk Classification — CERT and assessment date identify the displayed records

    2. Override Supervisory Subgroup Reconciliation — Override Supervisory subgroup assignment within the current institution capital supervisory rate fund record. Multiple updates can also be done based on information from the Statistical CAMELS Offsite Rating (SCOR), the Summary Analysis of Examination Report (SAER), and Case Manager systems.

    3. RRPS Report — Generate system reports.
