Breakeven Analysis of Savings From Moving Additional DIT Contractor Personnel On-Site (10-Year Net Present Value)

This is a line graph showing 10-year net present value savings in millions of dollars on the left side vertical axis and number of additional DIT on-site contractor staff across the horizontal axis on the bottom of the chart. Three data lines are shown. The first line depicts estimated savings based on the number of DIT contractor staff moved into Virginia Square. The graph shows that savings of approximately

  • $5.75 million if 100 additional DIT on-site contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square,
  • $9.0 million if 125 contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square,
  • $10.25 million if 150 contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square,
  • $12.25 million if 175 contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square,
  • $14.25 million if 200 contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square, and
  • $16 million if 225 contractor staff are moved into Virginia Square.

The second line is a flat horizontal line indicating that DOA/Ai estimated lease revenue is approximately $10.25 million NPV over a 10-year period. The third line is a flat horizontal line indicating that OIG estimated lease revenue is approximately $12.5 million NPV over a 10-year lease period. Based on these numbers, the graph indicates that DIT would need to house a minimum of 150 to 175 additional contractor staff currently located off-site to break even under Option III in comparison to the options that involve leasing space.
